WIZ KHALIFA & BRUNO MARS COME TO SNOOP'S RESCUE

Since 2003, Snoop Dogg has been able to have at least one mainstream hit jump off from his albums.  However, 2009's Malice n Wonderland and 2010's Doggumentary failed to produce hits.

Thanks to features from Wiz Khalifa and Bruno Mars, Snoop is back on top of the charts with his latest single "Young, Wild & Free." The track debuted at #10 on this week's Billboard Hot 100.

KEVIN HART JOINS MODERN FAMILY CAST

I think Kevin Hart is having his best year ever. After the box office success of this comedy tour and appearing on both the BET (as host) and MTV Video Music Awards, Hart is set to have a run on the ABC hit show Modern Family.

Hart's character, Andre, is a physician and Phil's new neighbor.   Funny enough, Hart will be reunited with Sofia Vergara after the two co-stared in Soul Plane back in 2004! [source]

Rosario Dawson is over in London town and attended the reopening of the UNIQLO London Flagship Store. I will be so happy when UNIQLO's online store is up and running since their only location in the States is in NYC.

It-girl Zoe Saldana was recently in Chi Town for the opening of the new hotel, PUBLIC Chicago. Meanwhile my favorite actor, Anthony Mackie, was spotted at a Moves Magazine party at Bathtub Gin in New York City.

MAN BEATS WIFE FOR NOT LIKING FACEBOOK STATUS

Texan Benito Apolinar was recently charged with battery after after allegedly punching his wife in the face following a dispute over a Facebook update.  

Reportedly, here's how it all went down.  After 15 years of marriage, Benito recently separated from his wife Dolores (who happens to be on house arrest).   This past Monday, a drunk Benito arrived at Dolores' place to drop off their children, and when she wouldn't let him in, Benito refused to leave. Then, the pair began to argue about Benito's recent Facebook post.

Dolores told police that Benito made a post on Facebook about the anniversary of his mother's death, but that she did not like or comment on his status update. She relayed that Benito was mad that he recieved commments and likes from others, but not from his wife.  

Benito claims that Dolores hit herself in the face and also blames a scratch above his eyebrow on Dolores smacking him with her cell phone.  A pretrial for the case is set for later this year.  [source]

WAS KRIS HUMPHRIES A GROOMZILLA?

I watched a bit of Kim Kardashian's wedding special over the weekend, and was surprised that Kris Humphries wanted to be very involved with the planning process for the wedding.

It seems that after generations of insults, demands and tears, the tables are turning as grooms are becoming more involved. According to MyRegistry.com, over the past few years, there has been a drastic increase in the number of male-centric wedding registries, consisting of everything from electric hand tools and tech savvy gadgets to autographed sports memorabilia and comic books. Clearly, there is a new breed of GROOMZILLAS in town. 

Personally, I think that it's important for both the bride and groom to be involved with wedding planning, however I don't think I'd mind if the future Mrs. Quick wanted to take the lead.  If you watched any of the wedding, what's your take?  Was Kris Humphries a GROOMZILLA?

PENN BADGLEY TAKES ZOE KRAVITZ OFF THE MARKET

Gossip Girl actor, Penn Badgley, is now coupled up with QCU's favorite hippie (sorry Mary-Kate) Zoe Kravitz. 

The two went public with their relationship earlier this month when they laid on the PDA during a stroll through Soho. Popsugar has the exclusive photo of their kiss. We see you Penn!

MICHELLE WILLIAMS IS "ON THE RUN"

Kelly Rowland and Beyonce aren't the only members of Destiny's Child with teasers out for their upcoming videos. DC's Michelle Williams is set to return as the featured vocalist on Electric Giant Beatz's "On The Run."

Much like Rowland, Williams teamed up with international DJs to create the R&B/Club track. Michelle recorded the song in Germany in June 2011, and shot the video treatment in Ibiza. Check out the teaser for the video below:

"On The Run" will serve as an international single, and will drop in the UK on October 31st. I'm interested to hear the single; judging from the preview, it should be a hit with international dance floor lovers.

STYLIST JUNE AMBROSE WILL RE-BRAND CELEBS ON REALITY SHOW

Celebrity stylist June Ambrose recently got the green light for a reality show called Styled By June. She flexed her styling muscles for Family Matters actor Jaleel White at Paul Stuart New York.

Styled By June will follow Ambrose as she attempts to makeover and re-brand celebrities. In the entertainment industry image is everything, so it will be interesting to see if an Ambrose makeover can help her clients break back into the spotlight. The show is set to premiere early 2012 on VH1.
