SERENA WILLIAMS WINS 12TH GRAND SLAM TITLE

On Saturday, Serena Williams defended her Australian Open Title against Justine Henin of Belgium.  Williams has held up the Daphne Akhurst Trophy five times, and this win gave her a career total of twelve Grand Slam titles. 

Serena and big sis, Venus, also took home the Women's doubles Australian Open grand slam title.  The Williams sisters have won a total of eleven Grand Slam doubles titles.

JOHN MAYER SPEAKS CANDIDLY ABOUT HIS LATEST ALBUM, LOVE LIFE, & BLOGGERS IN ROLLING STONE

One of my favorite singers, John Mayer, covers the February issue of Rolling Stone.

Mayer gets very personal in the issue and admits that Battle Studies is not his best work ("I know that I’m supposed to say that my newest is the best one. Bullshit. Continuum is my best one."), that he can't stop thinking about his exes ("All I want to do now is fuck the girls I've already fucked, because i can't fathom explaining myself to somebody who can't believe I'd be interested in them”), and that self-pleasure has helped him out of serious problems ("If Tiger Woods only knew when to jerk off”).

Mayer also discussed infamous blogger Perez Hilton saying, "He's not a very bright guy, and I also think he has some sort of clinical ADHD — he seems to exhibit some sort of post-traumatic thing. He's uneducated and highly opinionated. It is the worst combination in a human being."

BRANDY & RAY-J ENJOY A SIBLINGS NIGHT OUT IN LOS ANGELES

Siblings Brandy and Ray J were spotted having a great time together as they headed into Wonderland nightclub in Los Angeles. 

Ray J recently CONFIRMED that he and Brandy are still working on a joint album (tentatively title R&B), and that they are currently filming a family reality show.  Brandy was spotted filming scenes for the reality show in West Hollywood this weekend:

SOLANGE KNOWLES THROWS 'A PARTY' IN ALABAMA + DONATES TO HAITI RELIEF

This past weekend, Solange Knowles and Music World production team/artists, The Bamaz, teamed up to bring Solange's ANDY WARHOL INSPIRED "A Party" event to Alabama.  Solange played DJ for the majority of the night, and rocked a 80s-heavy playlist mixed with indie-rock and classic R&B.

Knowles explained that "A Party" is designed to introduce people to new music, and expressed to party-goers that "if you came expecting to hear Gucci Mane...you might as well leave now."  In a show of support for the victims of Haiti, Solange donated her entire proceeds from the event to the Red Cross for Haiti Earthquake Relief.

Diddy's latest project, Last Train to Paris, will feature music from Dirty Money (the combination of Diddy + Dawn Richard + Kaleena). Two singles, "Angels" & "Love Come Down," have already been released from the album, but to poor reception.

I am surprised that the Dirty Money "sound" isn't catching on, considering that it has the same structure as the music Diddy successfully released from Press Play.  Never-the-less, check out the latest leak from the album, "Strobe Lights," featuring Lil' Wayne.

A hot winter trend for the ladies is the faux fur vest, and both Kelly Rowland and Kim Kardashian were recently spotted rocking the trend with fitted black pants.

Kelly was spotted rocking her furry vest with a black turtleneck and brown knee-high boots while heading into her London hotel.  Meanwhile, Kim Kard(ass)shian was spotted in her furry vest at Katsuya, with all black everything including a Hermes Birkin bag.

MICHELLE WILLIAMS SPLITS FROM MATTHEW KNOWLES/MUSIC WORLD MANAGEMENT

Just like former group mate, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams has officially parted ways with Matthew Knowles/Music World management.  In a statement released exclusively to THAT GRAPE JUICE Williams comments,

“After much prayer and consideration I have decided to part ways from my management team, Mathew Knowles and Music World Entertainment. From my time in Destiny’s Child to my solo career, I am grateful for everything Mathew and his team has done for me. We’ve shared great success together. However, as I move in a new direction in my career, I felt it was time. I wish Mathew Knowles and the Music World Entertainment family all the best.”

BUZZ VIDEO: TRINA'S "THAT'S MY ATTITUDE"

Trina recently dropped the promo video for her buzz single, "That's My Attitude," which comes off her fifth studio album Amazin.  The LP is set to hit stores on June 8th and features collaborations with Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Keri Hilson, and Diddy. 

Although it's only a buzz video, "That's My Attitude" is a good visual from Trina.  She's in great shape, and even gives us a little choreography.
