Before the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West used Twitter to again apologize to Taylor Swift tweeting, "She deserves the apology more than anyone...I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it."
Although it seems that Kanye was genuinely attempting to make the impending elephant in the room smaller, some sources believe that his public apology was an attempt to overshadow his current and potential legal troubles.
"It seems that the music artist that is suing Kanye West for copyright infringement of the song "Stronger" has gotten hold of another song Kanye has copied off of and plans to go public with the song prior to the VMAs. This time it seems to be a pretty egregious copy on Kanye's part (word for word copy). The story only gets messier because the song that Kanye copied was sold to Jay Z and is currently on one of Jay Z's projects!
