During a recent performance in London, England, (friend in my head) Beth Ditto continued to prove that she is a fuc*ing style star.  And YOU thought she couldn't top the BRICK MINI DRESS she wore to an event in Paris, France earlier in the month.

Soon after arriving in London over the weekend, Rihanna  and her crew headed for late night Caribbean take-out.  The singer quenched her thirst with a Barbadian Tiger Malt beer while waiting for her order.

Ri Ri is overseas promoting her new album, Rated R, which Billboard reports is under-performing in sales.  On this week's Billboard 200, Ri Ri is on track to be outsold by both Susan Boyle and Adam Lambert.

I hope all you Quicksters had an awesome Thanksgiving.  I'm dedicating today's post to the celebs who took time out to give back during the holiday. The beautiful Zoe Saldana lent a hand to the Los Angeles Mission and served the homeless a Thanksgiving feast.

High School Musical star Corbin Bleu also showed up at the LA Mission to help out.

Lil' Mama showed her passion for NYC in a less-intrusive way.  She volunteered at the New York City Rescue Mission on Thanksgiving day.

100 PROOF VODKA-INFUSED TURKEY INCLUDES TAXI RIDE HOME

I thought Christmas was the season to be jolly, but Paul Hurley, the owner of O'Casey's Tavern in Midtown Manhattan,  is bringing some cheer to Thanksgiving by unveiling the nation's first turkey infused with 100 proof vodka.

The Turkey takes three days to prepare, and Hurley's bar is even including a free taxi ride home (in the city) for those who order his holiday specialty. Before partaking in this foolery, please take note of the photo above.  Good day, and Happy Thanksgiving!

DRAKE, NICKI MINAJ, & WALE ATTEND GQ 'MEN OF THE YEAR' EVENT

Hip-Hop's rated next crew, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Wale, attended a GQ "Men Of The Year" party held at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.  

Each of theses artists dressed up their signature styles, and looked great.  Wale's Attention Deficit is in stores now.  Drake and Nicki Minaj will both drop albums in 2010 on Lil' Wayne's Young Money imprint.

Before there was Rihanna, Santigold, or Solange, Kelis was rocking the alternative sound and look all alone. However, after the commercial success of "Milkshake," Kelis's music took on a more R&B/Hip-Hop sound, so it's good to hear her give us a different type of track.  "Acapella" is produced by DJ David Guetta who had a summertime global hit with Kelly Rowland called "When Love Takes Over."  On her OFFICIAL SITE Kelis wrote:

I was asked if I would ever put another album out. I suppose people assumed after the baby and divorce and all the time I took off (I went to culinary school during my break which was amazing and another conversation) that it would be on to motherhood for me.

My answer was always the same. “Soon come guys” ;) and so here we are. My album is pretty much done. I signed a new deal and I’m madly in love with life and ready to share something with you. SWAG GIVES BAD BOY ARTISTS LIFE!

Diddy sells the "mo money mo problems" lifestyle to the artists on Bad Boy.  Seriously.

The only Bad Boy artists making money are Diddy and Cassie (for reasons which we will not discuss).  So it's no surprise that Day 26 ran all up-and-through the American Music Awards gifting lounge over the weekend.

Like fat kids in a candy store (#noshade to Big Mike & Robert) they snatched up jeans, gift bags, and beauty products!

The Amber Rose show don't stop just because Kanye's in reclusion!  Rose was spotted in route to the black carpet for the NYC screening of TWILIGHT: NEW MOON.  I went to check out the movie over the weekend, and it was pretty good. (True Blood > New Moon)

Baby Tyra was spotted backstage at the Victoria's Secret fashion show which was filmed last night in NYC.  CBS will air the show on December 1st, 2009.

OPRAH TO ANNOUNCE END OF SHOW + PRESIDENT OBAMA COVERS GQ

Tomorrow (November 20th), Oprah Winfrey is slated to announce that The Oprah Winfrey Show will come to an end in 2011.  Apparently, the media mogul is giving "up her daytime syndicated talk show to focus on OWN, her long delayed Oprah Winfrey Network in 70 million homes that was supposed to launch...as a joint venture between Winfrey and Discovery Communications." [source].

The Oprah Winfrey Show is one of the most influential programs of all time, and she will surely be missed by the actors, musicians, directors, politicians, and authors whom she endorses and invites to the show as guests. 

I believe that both Oprah and her show was a KEY element to President Obama becoming our nation's leader.  He is being honored as "Leader of the Year" in the December issue of GQ Magazine:

MICHELLE WILLIAMS GOES TO CHURCH FOR ALTER EGO

Former Destiny's Child member, Michelle Williams, recently did an alter ego photo shoot with popular Atlanta photographer DEREK BLANKS.  The shoot reflects the various personalities that can be found within the church, and deals with the church's reaction to Williams being both a gospel and secular artist.  Michelle did a great job getting her Eddy Murphy on and portraying all the different characters.

Beyonce's "Video Phone" (Extended Mix) video ft. Lady Gaga was slated to premiere last week on November 5th, but was postponed due to "technical reasons."  MTV recently revealed that:

"'Video Phone' will have its global premiere on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 across 60 channels on MTV networks. The showing will reach 168 countries around the world, from South East Asia to Europe and on MTV and VH1 in the US. Starting at 12:01 AM/EST Tuesday, fans can log on to MTV.com, VH1.com and all MTV international websites for an early view of the spectacular clip, directed by Hype Williams."

Judging from the stills, this is going to be an interesting clip!

Mariah Carey signed autographs for a crowd of fans with who waited on the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan, Italy. Over in Rome, Kanye West and Amber Rose were spotted out & about. 

 

MC was in the country to perform on Italy's version of "X Factor," meanwhile Kanye and Amber spent their day shopping at Fendi, Missoni, and a perfumery.

EXECUTORS OF MICHAEL JACKSON'S WILL APPROVED

TMZ has obtained the official court documents approving John Branca and John McClain as the executors of the Michael Jackson Family Trust, the estate that controls Michael's assets.  John Branca is Jackson's former attorney whom he fired back in 2003, and John McClain is an executive at Interscope Records who was close to Michael.

Howard Weitzman, the lawyer for both Branca and McClain, revealed to TMZ that his clients "will continue carrying out Michael's wishes for the benefit of his mother, his children and charities."  Katherine Jackson stands to receive "40%, and the children "Blanket", Paris, and Prince Michael Jr. will receive 40%, 10% will go to charity."
