SERENA & VENUS WILLIAMS ADVANCE TO THE QUARTERS AT WIMBLEDON 09'

Today, both Serena and Venus Williams advanced to the quarterfinals in both the singles and doubles draw of this year's Wimbledon.

In the past 10 years, there has only been one Wimbledon singles final that has not included a Williams sister. Five-time champ Venus looks to defend her title, but Serena is looking to pick up her third Wimbledon Championship. The ladies are also defending doubles champs.

I'm predicting another all-Williams final, but i hope Venus is victorious and picks up her sixth Wimbledon title at the All England Club.

MARIAH CAREY UNVEILS ALBUM COVER FOR 'MEMOIRS OF AN IMPERFECT ANGEL'

Yesterday, Mariah Carey revealed the cover for Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel via her official website. On her TWITTER she wrote "It [the album cover] might leak 2day so I figured might as well give it a nice debut."

She went on to explain, "The reason I chose to use 3 images for the cover is cos there are a lot of different emotions and stories revealed on this album."

I personally like the cover because it is not heavily photoshoped, nor does it look anything like the covers for The Emancipation of Mimi or E=MC2.

On July 2, 2009, Don Cheadle and Annie Duke (the lady who should have won season 2 of The Celebrity Apprentice) continue their philanthropic efforts for Darfur and will co-host the third annual Ante Up for Africa. Other celebrities participating in this no limit Texas hold-em tournament are actors Matt Damon and Casey Affleck, Charles Barkley, talk show host Montel Williams, Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker, and comedians Marlon Wayans and Sarah Silverman.

Previous Ante Up tournaments have raised more than $2 million to support a brighter future for the people of Sudan. You can get more information about this cause from THE ENOUGH PROJECT and get great coverage of this tournament from POKERLISTINGS, who will be covering the event live.

This will be an exciting tournament that will surely raise both awareness and funds for Darfur. It is always great to see celebrities lending themselves to projects that focus on improving our world.

NEWS BREAK| THE WILL.I.AM & PEREZ HILTON ALTERCATION

This morning via TWITTER, Perez Hilton let loose on Black Eye Peas frontman Wil.i.am after the two got into an altercation outside an after party for Torando's MuchMusic Awards. Perez sent out a tweet saying, "I was assaulted by Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.”

According to Will.i.am, Perez began the dispute inside Club Supper by talking slick about Fergie and saying that he didn’t like their new album The E.N.D. After exchanging words inside the club, both men ended up at the Cobra after party where a second argument ensued outside.

Perez called Wil.i.am a "f**king fag**t", and Perez claims that he was thereafter punched in the eye by Will.i.am's manager Polo. Check out footage of the argument courtesy of TMZ:

There does appear to be more to this story. According to Perez Hilton, his beef with the Black Eye Peas actually started during rehearsals for the MuchMusic Awards. Click HERE to watch Perez give his account of the night, and click HERE to see what Wil.i.am had to say.

After all is said and done, i honestly believe that both parties are lying. I believe Perez when he says that all of the drama with Wil began during rehearsals, and Wil.i.am admitted to approaching Perez outside the Cobra afterparty.

However, I think Wil.i.am approached Perez calmly, but Perez caught an attitude, and then the argument escalated. As for Polo hitting Perez in the face...that is something we will never know. I think Perez is a drama queen, and i think that the Black Eye Peas camp was genuinely pissed off.
