Kelly Rowland was all smiles on the red carpet for her 28th "surprise" birthday party held at Opera earlier in the week. Former Destiny's Child members Michelle Williams & Beyonce came out to support their girl:
Kelly's good friend LaLa & B's cousin/former assistant, Angie, hit the red carpet together. I wonder who Angie is going to work for now that she's no longer Beyonce's assistant?
Tank, who contributed a lot to the album Ms. Kelly, hosted the event. His wife Kandy also came out to support.
Remember when Brandy & Kelly used to be good friends!? Well i had no idea that they shared the same birth date of February 11th, and while Kelly celebrated her birthday the night before, Brandy celebrated her 30th birthday at Nobu on the 11th:
She and brother Ray J arrived together. Anywho, i'm sure everyone wonders why Brandy & Kelly Rowland's friendship ended, and of course there were always those allegations that Brandy was in Kelly's ear about Matthew+ Beyonce, but at the time, she wasn't trying to hear it.

There’s no drama. I have so much love for Kelly. We we’re actually born on the same day. So (there’s) no drama. We’re just on different paths."
