The 2009 Grammy awards won't take place until February 9th, but there has been plenty of lead-in events. Last week, the nominations were announced, and over the weekend, both Ludacris + Jermaine Dupri made an appearance at the GRAMMY Museum ribbon cutting ceremony held at Nokia Plaza in LA↓

In other news, Raphael's new album, The Way I See It, has just been named iTunes #1 Best Album of 2008 (with an average customer rating of four-and-a-half-stars). The singer is also nominated for three Grammys including a nod for Best R&B Album.
